The concept is simple

The more books you read, the more points you receive, and the more reviews you can request.

Joining Authentic

• Easily create your profile and include the books for which you want to receive reviews.
• Adding the book to our platform is not enough; you must actively request a review so it can be posted in our library and accessible to our members. For this to happen, you need at least 10 points in your wallet, which you will acquire by reading other author’s books.

Authors Participation

• To participate in the program, you must be an author.
• Have an eBook that is currently available for purchase on Amazon. However, if you are in the process of finishing your book and would like to join to start accumulating points, please contact us, and we will guide you through the process.
• We accept authors from all over the globe. Your country of residence doesn’t matter.

Request Review

• Only when you request a review will your book be available at our library, and points will be deducted from your wallet. If you change your mind, you can cancel anytime, as long as your book hasn’t been selected. In this case, the points will be reinstated.
• To increase your book’s chance of being selected, consider the following common denominators: an interesting title, an attractive cover, a great summary, and a reasonable price. We recommend prices to be below U$ 2.99. If your book’s price is higher, you can still participate. However, the rotation of your book may be slower, as authors might choose not to select it frequently.  
• There is no cost per review or financial compensation for the reviewers now or in the future. This reaffirms the platform’s commitment to integrity and ensures that reviews are based on genuine feedback, not monetary gain.

Choosing a Book to Provide a Critique

• After selecting a book from our library, you can either purchase the eBook or read it through Kindle Unlimited on your local Amazon site. Please note that in order to leave a review, Amazon requires you to have spent at least $50 on any product in the past 12 months. Reviews based on audiobooks will not be accepted, as we aim for verified purchases. You won’t receive points for submitting a non-verified review.
• You don’t need to own a Kindle to read an eBook; you can effortlessly read on your tablet or computer, even if the formatting is different.
• If you change your mind, you can cancel the assignment at any time, and the book will be returned to the library immediately, making it available to other members.

Post Reviews at Amazon

• Authentic does not influence the reviews in any way. We only ask the reviewers to be professional and approach feedback with respect, empathy, and constructive intent. Please avoid using AI in your review. Not only might Amazon not accept and delete it later, but you won’t receive points.
• To maintain your privacy when submitting a review, we highly recommend adding a pen name on the review submission page on Amazon different from yours or your author’s name.  
• It is essential to call out that Authentic is compliant with Amazon’s review policy:
  • There is no financial compensation for reviewers nor any payment per review.
  • There are no swaps or trade reviews due to the privacy in place.
  • There is no obligation to provide a review.
  • There isn’t any external influence on the review.
